This week I ramble about the mostly positive effects of a mental health "coming out", a phone free weekend adventure ride and camping trip in the Back Country of Idaho, and the timeless lessons learned from a couple of 19th century texts - Tom Sawyer and Walden. This was one of my favorite episodes to record, even if it was in the blazing hot sun. Climate change is rad! Oh, and I kick it all off with the origin tale of my long and ongoing international pretty crime spree!

It's been a weird week. Last week's episode was a huge release and led to a lot of catharsis but also the reopening of old wounds. I received a lot of outpouring of support yet it's all been tough to process. It was a bit tough to organize my thoughts, so please bear with me. This week I work through some of that and recount a few adventures of white water rafting and a trip to a tiny town called Yellow Pine. 

This week's episode was supposed to be interviewing my friend Toby Morse. Instead he flipped the script and interviewed me. This one is 3 hours long. And it's deep, raw, intense, emotional and we both cried a lot. And it turned into an episode go Toby's One Life One Chance Podcast, as well as an episode of Tuesdays With Jakey. Enjoy. I guess?

This week I ramble about my first trip to socialize with friends since the Pandemic started. I flew to LA, saw a bunch of buds, rode in a van with the band H2O to their show in Phoenix and then renewed the vows of my besties Toby and Moon Morse for their 25th wedding anniversary.
